Standing in the red sand of the 570-acre Solenté development site in 60-degree weather, Washington City Mayor Kress Staheli pointed north towards Snow Canyon and the Red Cliffs Desert Preserve and proclaimed it a “perfect November red rock day.”

More than 50 community members joined Washington City officials, SITLA, and Washington Area Chamber of Commerce members on site to break ground on GWC Capital’s newest development project, Solenté.

Located off Exit 13 on I-15 in Washington City near the existing Green Springs neighborhood, Solenté is a club and resort-oriented community with a master plan that is thoughtful, functional, sustainable, connected, in balance with nature, and a work of art enabling residents and guests to experience nature’s unrealized ends.

Solenté will feature a variety of resort lifestyle amenities uniquely tailored for each segment of the community including a community sports club, exclusive estate clubs, a resort residential club, and a luxury resort hotel club.

The groundbreaking signals the commencement of grading and horizontal work in preparation for the delivery of the first 51 estate lots in 2024.
