Clyde Companies is proud to partner with the Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration (SITLA), who recently donated more than $166 million to public schools in the state.

SITLA is an organization that works with private businesses to generate revenue from trust lands, which include real estate, energy and mineral royalties, and surface development. Many of Clyde Companies’ entities contributed to this donation through sand and gravel leases, the Desert Color master-planned community, and other projects.

SITLA’s innovative approach sets the standard for other states while creating economic value for the community. It was created in 1994 to manage the state’s 3.4 million acres of trust lands, which are held in trust for 12 beneficiaries, all public schools.

SITLA’s record-breaking revenues last fiscal year, a remarkable $64 million increase from the previous year, made the donation possible. Clyde Companies’ partnership not only generates revenue for the trust, but it also helps create tremendous economic value to the state.

Clyde Companies is proud to partner with an organization that shares its values of giving back and Building a Better Community. With the help of SITLA, Clyde Companies is making a positive impact in the state of Utah by providing support to public schools and promoting economic growth.
